FAQ
Arbitrage is a financial strategy that involves capitalizing on price differences for the same asset across multiple markets. Traders buy an asset in one market where the price is lower and simultaneously sell it in another market where the price is higher, earning a risk-free profit from the price discrepancy.
Crypto arbitrage opportunities arise in South Africa due to the country's strict currency exchange controls. These regulations limit the flow of foreign currency, driving up local demand for cryptocurrencies as an alternative means of transferring value. This heightened demand often leads to higher prices for cryptocurrencies in South Africa compared to other markets, creating profitable arbitrage opportunities
The minimum investment amount is R100 000- R250 000.
Since the funds are deposited directly into your personal bank account, you have complete access to your money on a daily basis and can monitor all incoming and outgoing transactions. Easy Arbitrage is dedicated to maximizing returns and prides itself on delivering highly competitive results. Under the current Easy Arbitrage mandate, customers are expected to receive a minimum return of 1% per arbitrage trade execution (usually 1-2 trades a week) before swift fees. If this return is not achievable on a given day, Easy Arbitrage will not proceed with the trade.
South Africans are permitted to send up to R11 million offshore each calendar year. This allowance consists of a R1 million Single Discretionary Allowance (SDA) and an additional R10 million Foreign Investment Allowance (AIT). The SDA can be used at your discretion without needing prior approval from SARS, while the AIT requires formal approval from SARS, typically for larger overseas investments.
Before participating in the arbitrage process, it is important to disclose all foreign transactions and confirm the remaining balance of your SDA and AIT. Exceeding these limits can result in severe penalties. For your convenience, we handle the SARS application for the AIT on your behalf.
